1st Trailer of Laid-Back Camp TV Drama Is as Comfy as the Anime

Afro’s Laid-Back Camp manga’s drama adaption of the wholesome camp series had its first trailer released on December 24 on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel. The drama debuts on Japanese TV on January 9 with a stream following on Amazon Prime the next day.

 

 

Alongside the trailer was the announcement that Yurina Yanagi and Kaho Tsuchimura (Shino Domoto in In This Corner of the World TV drama) would be joining the cast as Sakura Kagamihara, Nadeshiko’s older sister, and Minami Toba, the alcoholic Outdoor Activities Circle’s advisor. Yanagi commented on the series, saying that the drama that “relaxes your tired mind” with Tsuchimura exclaiming that she was happy because during filming, she “saw many Laid-Back Camp fans visiting the campsite.”

The Laid-Back Camp TV drama starts on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi on January 9 followed by an Amazon Prime stream on January 10 and BS TV Tokyo broadcast on January 14. The anime adaption aired its 12 episodes from January 2018, with a second season on the way. A spin-off mini-series, Heya Camp, will be broadcast from January 6, 2020.

 

Crunchyroll streamed the first season of Laid-Back Camp TV anime as it aired in Japan.
