Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Light Novels Get Anime Adaptation
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear—or Bear Bear Bear Bear, if you’re feelin‘ particularly unbearable—is a light novel series written by Kumano and illustrated by 029, and it’s officially getting a TV anime. A teaser website is currently live along with a visual drawn by 029.
Further details about the anime adaptation have yet to be announced, so for now we’ll just have to grin and bear it. The story follows a 15-year-old gamer named Yuna who, thanks to her many hours of play in a VRMMO, nets herself a wonderful (and non-transferable) bear outfit. Once she gets whisked away to another world, its inhabitants can’t bear the sight of what appears to be… a bear?
Bear.
Here’s the visual:
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear has been running since 2014, and is currently 14 volumes strong. Stay tuned for more on the anime as it’s announced.
