PSYCHO-PASS AR Game Lets You Crack Hidden Cases in Shibuya

Think you’ve got what it takes to make it as an Enforcer? A new PSYCHO-PASS AR game is ready to put you to the test!

The new game, subtitled Shibuya PSYCHO-HAZARD, will use players‘ smartphones to enhance the experience. The game will take place throughout Shibuya, using a special app with augmented reality capabilities.

Players will take on the roles of new CID recruits, sent out to investigate a chemical weapons incident as part of their on-the-job training. They’ll be able to communicate with characters and scan real-world locations to solve the case.

The game, which will take about 2 hours to complete, kicks off on January 21 and is currently set to run until June 30. Participating will cost 2,900 yen on weekdays and 3,100 yen on weekends and holidays.

PSYCHO-PASS: Shibuya PSYCHO-HAZARD was created in conjunction with the upcoming release of PSYCHO-PASS 3 The Movie: First Inspector. The project will receive an Amazon Prime exclusive release in Japan and abroad.
