Good news for fans, as we bring to you some exciting new developments about Call of Duty’s upcoming sequel. The new installment seemingly called Vanguard will release this year. No official details, including the game’s name, have been revealed yet. We heard and covered a lot of rumors and leaks about it in the past and now it’s time for some official information.

Call of Duty Vanguard Reveal

Days ago we covered some leaked promotional images, which included names, characters, artwork, and the game’s various editions. Now we know for sure when the game is going to be officially revealed by Activision. This will bring along a lot of official information and confirm the previous leaks and rumors.

The reveal will take place in Call of Duty: Warzone on Thursday, 19^th August 2021 at 10:30am PT. The reveal date of the game popped up on the PlayStation Store along with the artwork for the game. The time we mentioned is when the reveal event of the game will take place. Earlier, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was also revealed in the same way, i.e., in an event within Warzone.

From the listing in the PlayStation Store, one thing has surely been confirmed that is, the name of the game. Call of Duty: Vanguard can be seen written in bold and block letters, confirming the title of the sequel. Apart from this, the artwork of the listing also matches the earlier leaks and rumors. So, there is a very bright chance that all those promotional posters leaked a few days ago are true!

That aside, there are a few more details that are confirmed about the upcoming Call of Duty sequel. COD: Vanguard’s plot will be centered around the birth of modern allied Special Forces, according to VGC’s sources. It has also been confirmed that it will feature a campaign, multiplayer, and Zombie modes set in the European and Pacific theatres of World War II.
