“The Gentlemen Cast & Character Guide”
The Gentlemen cast features several recognizable faces from across the entertainment industry. Written and directed by Guy Ritchie, The Gentlemen is a film that returns the celebrated director to his roots of comedy and crime. Years after helming films like Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, Ritchie moved on to bigger properties that pushed him into different genres, such as the Sherlock Holmes movies, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and 2019’s Aladdin. Now, Ritchie is once again directing a gangster film infused with comedy.
Described by the studio as a “sophisticated action comedy“, The Gentlemen tells the story of Mickey Pearson, an American expatriate who has built a successful marijuana empire in London, but is no longer interested in staying in the business. Problems arise when Pearson’s intentions are revealed to other figures in organized crime, who start scheming to steal everything that Pearson has built.
