#Bronx burglar busts into home to steal light bulb

He’s not very bright!

A suspected Bronx burglar busted into a home last month and made off with only a light bulb.

The man broke through the basement window of a home in the Charlotte Gardens section of the borough at about 4 a.m. on Nov. 13, police said.

Surveillance footage released by police shows the alleged light bulb burglar entering a hallway from a basement staircase of the residence near Bryant Avenue and Jennings Street.

The suspect can be seen ambling past a hallway light before allegedly unscrewing a bulb from another fixture in the home, according to police.

Police said after his haul, the man left through the front door and fled on foot southbound on Bryant Avenue.

As of late Sunday, the suspect was still being sought by police.
