\n A young woman realized every student\u2019s worst nightmare after accidentally submitting an essay with a profanity-laden title, as documented in a TikTok video<\/a> with more than 5.8 million views.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy roommate submitted her mid-term paper without changing the title,\u201d reads the caption to the hilarious clip, which was uploaded by user @hanspoet on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The incriminating clip shows the videographer asking her unnamed friend what\u2019s amiss as the rueful girl bawls hysterically on the floor before asking if she can resubmit the assignment. The camera then zooms in on said essay\u2019s heading, which reads \u201cstupid f \u2013 \u2013 king paper that has no meaning\u201d at the top of every page.<\/p>\n

The clip concludes with a shot of the camerawoman struggling to stifle her laughter over her roomie\u2019s plight.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say, the student\u2019s blunder has made waves with the TikTok peanut gallery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d give her an A+,\u201d said one about the profane placeholder.<\/p>\n

\u201cSubmit this video for extra credit,\u201d joked another social<\/a>-media scholar.<\/p>\n

One even suggested that she lie to her professor and say that her sibling changed the title as a goof.<\/p>\n

Even purported pedagogues expressed their support.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a teacher, I would die laughing if any of my students did this,\u201d said one alleged academic about the swear-filled submission.<\/p>\n

Another wrote, \u201cHonestly we\u2019re just thankful anyone turns anything in these days.\u201d<\/p>\n

The student has since apologized to her teacher over the slip-up, as documented in this follow-up clip<\/a> by her roommate.<\/p>\n

In the email mea culpa, which she supposedly penned while \u201cin tears,\u201d the horrified student claimed she often uses such placeholders to help get her creative juices flowing. She said she didn\u2019t realize the mistake until it was too late, despite the fact that she thought she \u201cdouble-checked everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very sorry and understand that it is not app<\/a>ropriate,\u201d wrote the apologetic scholar, who said she has since attached the revised document.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the understanding professor cleared the essay and allowed her to submit an updated version of the assignment, per her testimonial.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re waiting for the grade,\u201d the student said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
