“#Lil Yachty Series<\/a> Public Figures Coming to HBO Max<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

In the wake of Quibi shuttering, HBO Max<\/a> has picked up Lil Yachty\u2019s dramedy series Public Figures<\/em>. The show will be re-developed by HBO along with Quality Films\u2014the film and TV division of Yachty\u2019s label home Quality Control<\/a> records. This marks the first script<\/a>ed project for Quality Films.<\/p>\n

Lil Yachty will star as himself in Public Figures<\/em>. The show is loosely based on the Atlanta rapper\u2019s life, following a group of NYC friends and their humorous attempts to become influencers. Yachty will executive produce the show alongside Ian Edelmen, Brian Sher, Gregory Jones, and Quality Films and Quality Conrol labelheads Kevin \u201cCoach K\u201d Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas. \u201cThis has been two years and a lot of hard work in the making and we are so excited and just so proud\u201d Lee said of Public Figures<\/em> in a press release.<\/p>\n
