“#Jamie Lynn Spears Defends Big Sis Britney’s ‘Challenging Time’ In The Public Eye

\nOn Thursday morning,\u00a0Jamie Lynn Spears<\/strong> opted to open up a little bit about her big sister, pop star\u00a0Britney Spears<\/strong>, while doing a live interview with\u00a0Good Morning America<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The younger Spears sister, 29, hasn\u2019t spoken publicly about her older sister very much, but GMA<\/em> host\u00a0Michael Strahan<\/strong> tossed out a question about her well-being, and the Zoey 101<\/em> alum took the bait.<\/p>\n

Now, Jamie Lynn was relatively light on the details; there was no discussion of Britney\u2019s controversial conservatorship, or the app<\/a>arent behind-the-scenes battles being waged for control of it, and her. Still, the mom of two nevertheless shed some light on what seems like a very tough year for her big sis,\u00a0and<\/em> the whole family.<\/p>\n

Asked by the former football star about how the Baby One More Time<\/em> singer has been handling things of late, Jamie Lynn offered up this tidbit during their virtual chat:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that she\u2019s doing just like the rest of us. She\u2019s trying to make the best and stay positive during a very challenging time and challenging year, and I think that that\u2019s kind of the theme of everyone right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well said, and always having her sister\u2019s back!<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no question 2020 has seen us all<\/em> struggle in one way or another. We can\u2019t wait to turn the page\u2026<\/p>\n

Of course, Britney\u2019s current situation is also a bit<\/em> beyond the typical 2020 complaints. As we\u2019ve been reporting, the endless power struggle over her now 13-year-long conservatorship continues. Meanwhile, the #FreeBritney movement \u2014 which the girls\u2019 father Jamie<\/strong> has previously called a \u201cjoke\u201d made up of \u201cconspiracy theorists\u201d \u2014 has continued to gain more traction, as well. And all this while the pop princess suddenly stepped back from Instagram<\/strong>, for reasons unclear. It never ends!<\/p>\n

Brit aside, Jamie Lynn was on the national daytime TV morning show to promote her work on a Zoey 101<\/em> music video reunion. During the chat, she spoke more about that as well as her family life and time spent at home over the last eight months during the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
