\n \u201cI shot two white kids,\u201d 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse told his hometown cops just two hours after he admittedly opened fire with an AR-15 at a protest in Kenosha, Wisc., leaving two dead and one wounded, according to a new report.<\/p>\n

Details of the shaken teen\u2019s alleged confession inside an Antioch, Illinois police station \u2014\u00a0 made between bouts of crying and vomiting \u2014 were revealed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rittenhouse was \u201cvisibly upset\u201d immedia<\/a>tely after the Aug. 25 shooting, according to a copy of the arrest report obtained by the Sentinel late Friday, as the teen was extradited back to Kenosha to face homicide charges.<\/p>\n

The teen, who has insisted through his legal team that he acted in self-defense, showed up with his mother at the station around 10 miles from Kenosha shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 26.<\/p>\n

He told an officer he had \u201cended a man\u2019s life,\u201d according to the documents cited by the news<\/a>paper.<\/p>\n

Amazingly, Rittenhouse told his hometown cops that he\u2019d tried to turn himself in earlier that night, to an officer in Kenosha \u2014 but was told to go home, the report said.<\/p>\n

He also told cops he\u2019d been hired to protect a business in Kenosha and had to defend himself. The owner of the business, Car Source, previously told the Journal Sentinel<\/a> that he didn\u2019t hire any armed guards.<\/p>\n

Police called firefighters for a medical check on Rittenhouse, who had small scratches on his arms, the report said.<\/p>\n

As he was being tended to, the teen allegedly told cops he\u2019d been hit, including with a skateboard, before firing.<\/p>\n

While waiting for detectives to arrive, Rittenhouse went through a range of emotions \u2014 from crying fits to periods of calm \u2014 and also threw up, an Antioch cop noted.<\/p>\n

Hours later, he began to have trouble breathing so cops called firefighters again.<\/p>\n

The teen was later booked as a fugitive from justice on a warrant from Kenosha for first-degree intentional homicide and was taken to a juvenile detention center, the report said.<\/p>\n

The documents also revealed that Rittenhouse told cops the AR-15 he used in the shooting was purchased by his 18-year-old friend.<\/p>\n

Police found the assault-style rifle in the trunk of that man\u2019s car.<\/p>\n

The friend told cops he\u2019d been with Rittenhouse in Kenosha, and didn\u2019t see the shooting, as he\u2019d been on the roof of a business, armed with a gun, at the time.<\/p>\n

At some point after the shooting, Rittenhouse called his pal, who said he picked up the teen and put both of their rifles in his trunk, where cops later found them.<\/p>\n

In a police interview, the friend \u2014 whose name was being withheld by the paper because he is not charged with a crime \u2014 said Rittenhouse gave him money to buy the rifle at an Ace Hardware in Ladysmith, Wisc.<\/p>\n

The friend said he expected to be in more trouble than Rittenhouse, who he said was defending himself.<\/p>\n

He also recalled telling Rittenhouse: \u201cIn all reality, you are not supposed to have that gun. That gun was in my name.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition the most serious charge of first-degree intentional homicide, which carries a life prison sentence, Rittenhouse is charged with attempted intentional homicide in the wounding of a third protester and with a misdemeanor charge of underage firearm possession.<\/p>\n

The shooting unfolded amid the chaos after the August police shooting of\u00a029-year-old Jacob Blake in Kenosha.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
