Your iPad will automatically convert your writing to text.<\/p>\n<p>The Scribble feature was first released in iPadOS 14. It works with all iPads and iPad Pros that support the Apple Pencil (all generations). And as you\u2019d expect with Apple, it just works. There\u2019s no need to enable this feature.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Write_in_Any_Text_Box_on_iPad_Using_Your_Apple_Pencil\"><\/span>Write in Any Text Box on iPad Using Your Apple Pencil<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you like to take handwritten notes, the Scribble feature will feel like a blessing. It will automatically convert anything that you write into text. All you have to do is make the text at least semi-legible. But its biggest limitation is the size of the text field itself. If you want to write a paragraph or a page, you\u2019ll need to use a dedicated writing or notes app.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the Apple Notes app comes with a built-in Scribble feature.<\/p>\n<p>Open the Notes app on your iPad and create a new note. Then, tap the empty part of the note using your Apple Pencil. Tapping a word twice also does the trick.
