“#Vikings’ Cameron Dantzler stretchered off field after hit to head<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n Vikings rookie Cameron Dantzler had to be stretchered off the field in a scary scene during the first quarter against the Packers Sunday, suffering a neck injury after taking an inadvertent hit to the head from his own teammate.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old cornerback and safety Anthony Harris both went to tackle Green Bay running back AJ Dillion, resulting in a Harris\u2019 hip striking Dantzler right in the head. Dantzler fell to the ground and was immedia<\/a>tely tended to by the Vikings\u2019 training staff.<\/p>\n

The team announced that Dantzler suffered a neck injury and is being evaluated for a concussion. Kevin Burkhardt, calling the game<\/a> for Fox, said Dantzler\u2019s fingers app<\/a>eared to be moving before he was taken off the field.<\/p>\n

Dantzler, the Vikings\u2019 2020 third-round pick, recorded two tackles against the Packers before the injury. Heading into Sunday\u2019s game, Dantzler had registered 21 solo tackles and two tackles for loss in four games.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
