\n His escape plan fizzled out fast.<\/p>\n

A Nebraska man threw a can of White Claw hard seltzer at police in an attempt to avoid arrest last weekend, the local ABC affiliate reported.<\/p>\n

Matthew Stinson, 35, reportedly walked into a motel lobby in Lincoln Sunday, waving a knife around and threatening to kill the clerk behind the desk. He eventually took off and threatened others in the area before fleeing.<\/p>\n

Police managed to track down Stinson two miles away about six hours after his maniacal episode. As the officers app<\/a>roached him, Stinson hurled the yuppie drink of choice at the cops as he fled, police told the station.<\/p>\n

But Stinson reportedly missed the officers, who chased him down and placed him under arrest after finding a folding pocket knife on his person.<\/p>\n

Stinson faces charges for resisting arrest, making terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
