\n Rayshard Brooks\u2019 widow said Thursday that she was \u201cglad\u201d the cop who shot and killed her husband was charged with felony murder \u2014 but it still won\u2019t \u201cbring him back\u201d to his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything is just pretty much breathtaking,\u201d Tomika Miller said on NBC\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d show after being asked about the 11 charges against fired Atlanta cop Garrett Rolfe, 27, who also kicked her husband as he lay dying.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just very emotional \u2014 Father\u2019s Day is coming up and all I can keep thinking about is my husband won\u2019t be here. <\/span>No matter how many charges they face, it\u2019s not gonna bring him back,\u201d Miller said of the 27-year-old father of four.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s not gonna be a day where I see him walk through the door, or he\u2019s laughing with his kids again, or he\u2019s trying to do the best in life, and become the best man he wants to be for his family.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019m glad about the charges, but I want to see them go through.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Rolfe could face life without parole or the death penalty if convicted of felony murder. <\/span><\/p>\n

The other officer involved, Devin Brosnan, 26, will face three charges, including aggravated assault \u2014 but will testify against Rolfe, the first time an Atlanta cop has crossed the thin blue line, the district attorney said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both men have until 6 p.m. Thursday to surrender.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miller \u2014 who previously told the show she cannot bring herself to see videos of her husband\u2019s death \u2014 said she is having sleepless nights while Brooks\u2019 four kids are still tearfully mourning their dad.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard for me to sleep. Every day I\u2019m praying \u2014 I\u2019m praying to through it, I\u2019m praying for strength,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wake up, and my daughter\u2019s crying, and she\u2019s crying out for her dad. <\/span>They miss him, dearly. I wish that I could say I\u2019m doing well but I\u2019m not.\u201d<\/span>\n <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
