\n WASHINGTON \u2014 President Trump\u2019s Twitter account was a sea of warning labels on Wednesday afternoon as the commander-in-chief furiously tweeted about \u201cdisappearing\u201d and \u201csurprise\u201d ballots as he trails Joe Biden in must-win states.<\/p>\n

The social media platform censored four of the president\u2019s tweets<\/a> about the nail-biting 2020 race, claiming he broke Twitter\u2019s civic integrity policy by spreading information that could be\u00a0\u201cmisleading about an election or other civic process.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the 2020 presidential race still undecided, Twitter quickly hid Trump\u2019s claims that \u201cballot dumps\u201d were occurring and that unnamed sources were working hard to make his advantage in the state of Pennsylvania \u201cdisappear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some users were also prevented from sharing the commander-in-chief\u2019s missives.<\/p>\n

Facebook also added a fact check box<\/a> to the president\u2019s claims which suggested he was confused by basic democracy and was blaming legitimate absentee ballots for his dwindling lead over Joe Biden.<\/p>\n

The Trump administration has been locked in a bitter dispute with the tech titans after they began policing his tweets and posts and labeling them as \u201cmisinformation,\u201d threatening to curtail their liability protections.<\/p>\n

With pundits increasingly backing Biden to become the next president of the United States, Trump spent Wednesday in the White House residence as his campaign threatened to challenge the results.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
