\n The Trump campaign filed a lawsuit in Georgia, requesting that a judge order a county to account for ballots that were app<\/a>arently received after 7 p.m. on Election Day, a report said.<\/p>\n

The suit, which is the third by the Trump campaign in battleground states, alleges that a Republican observer saw a poll worker take unprocessed ballots and mix them in with processed ballots that were waiting to be counted in Chatham County, The Associated Press reported.<\/p>\n

Ballots in Georgia, which has not been called for Trump or Biden, have to be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be valid. The county where the Trump campaign filed suit leans Democratic and includes the city of Savannah.<\/p>\n

The Georgia Republican Party, which joined the Trump campaign\u2019s suit in Chatham County, said they plan to sue in a dozen other counties in the state.<\/p>\n
