It takes 270 to win.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       For Trump to triumph, the Republican incumbent would have to run the table on the four swing states left to be called by the AP \u2014 Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania \u2014 while Biden just needs to win one of those battlegrounds.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>See:<\/strong>  Here\u2019s what we know about the states whose Electoral College votes haven\u2019t been called <\/p>\n<p>Election officials in Georgia, where Trump has been slightly ahead, said on Thursday that about 16,000 ballots were left to count and that they expected to complete counting Friday. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> conference, Biden\u2019s campaign manager, Jen O\u2019Malley Dillon, said the state \u201cleans to\u201d Biden since the outstanding ballots are from Democratic areas. Trump\u2019s lead in the state had narrowed to just 1,800 votes as of midnight. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur data shows that Joe Biden will be the next president of the United States,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>In brief remarks following a coronavirus briefing in Delaware, Biden continued to counsel patience, saying, \u201cEach ballot must be counted.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>But he added that he felt good about where things stand and said he had \u201cno doubt\u201d he and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, would be declared the winners. <\/p>\n<p>Trump remained defiant on Thursday night, saying that if the \u201clegal\u201d votes only are counted, he has won the election. \u201cIf you count the illegal votes they can try to steal the election from us,\u201d he said at the White House, but did not provide evidence for that charge.  <\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>In Nevada, Biden\u2019s lead over Trump went up to more than 11,000 votes as the latest votes were reported by counties in that state. <\/p>\n<p>While the AP and Fox News both called Arizona for Biden on Election Night, there remained some doubts about the outcome in that state, with CNN and other news outlets not yet declaring a winner. His campaign filed suit in Michigan demanding increased access to locations where ballots are being counted. A senior adviser to his re-election campaign, Jason Miller, said Trump\u2019s tweet had to do with how \u201cstates and localities should not be counting ballots that were mailed in or magically <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared in a sack of ballots after Election Day.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf these are legal ballots, and people are following the law, and they\u2019re clearly postmarked, and they hold up, and we have signature matches where the localities have that, then obviously all legal ballots should be counted,\u201d Miller told reporters on a conference call on Thursday. Some states\u2019 laws allow for the acceptance of mail-in ballots <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/factcheck\/2020\/10\/30\/fact-check-some-mail-ballots-arriving-post-election-day-count\/6075311002\/\" class=\"icon none\">arriving after Election Day<\/a> as long as they were postmarked by Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Miller said the AP and Fox News should walk back their calls on Arizona, and he touted a Pennsylvania appellate court\u2019s ruling on Thursday morning that appeared to provide the Trump campaign\u2019s observers with increased access to ballot-counting rooms in Philadelphia. That court\u2019s decision was later overruled by the state supreme court. <\/p>\n<p>As of midnight, Trump\u2019s lead over Biden in Pennsylvania had shrunk to 0.3% \u2014 about 22,600 votes \u2014 with 95% of the vote in. <\/p>\n<p>Miller and other campaign officials continued to project optimism about Trump\u2019s prospects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that President Trump will again win the race, and we think that by as soon, possibly, as the end of tomorrow \u2014 on Friday \u2014 it will be clear to the American public that President Trump and Vice President Pence will serve another four years in the White House,\u201d Miller said.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Stepien, Trump\u2019s campaign manager, said the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> and Washington insiders have been \u201ctrying to count Donald Trump out for years,\u201d but the president is \u201calive and well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>U.S. stocks<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.94%<\/bg-quote><\/p>\n<p>        COMP,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598365\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+2.59%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       traded sharply higher Thursday, after the Dow Jones Industrial Average<br \/>\n        DJIA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598065\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.94%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       on Wednesday had a historically strong post\u2013Election Day outing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the potential legal challenges to the results will loom, the market seems content to price to what appears the net result: Biden in the White House and a divided Congress,\u201d said\u00a0Ian Lyngen, head of U.S. rates strategy at BMO Capital Markets, in a note on Thursday.
