Your iPhone can listen to any song playing nearby and tell you. You don\u2019t need any <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s\u2014multiple song identification tools are built right into your iPhone. Apple even purchased Shazam, a popular music recognition app.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how music recognition features work: When you tell your iPhone to listen for a song, it uses its microphone to record the audio around you. That audio data is uploaded to a server and analyzed, matching it to a known song in a database.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ask_Siri_What_Song_Is_Playing\"><\/span>Ask Siri What Song Is Playing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can ask Siri what song is playing by saying something like \u201cWhat\u2019s that song?\u201d or \u201cWhat\u2019s playing?\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>To activate Siri, long-press the iPhone\u2019s Power button. Say \u201cWhat\u2019s that song?\u201d. If you have Hey Siri set up, you can also say \u201cHey Siri, what\u2019s that song?\u201d without pressing any buttons.<\/p>\n<p>Siri will pop up and say something like \u201cLet me listen\u201d or \u201cNaming that tune.\u201d Be sure your iPhone can hear the music properly. If you\u2019re in a noisy location or someone is talking loudly over the music, it might not hear the song well enough. However, it\u2019s not enabled by default.<\/p>\n<p>To add the Music Recognition button to your Control Center, head to Settings &gt; Control Center. Add the \u201cMusic Recognition\u201d button to your Control Center by tapping the plus sign to its left. (If you don\u2019t see this option on the Settings screen, you haven\u2019t updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 14.2 yet.) You can then drag it up or down in the list to rearrange the Control Center layout<\/p>\n<p>With the button added, you can now swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone or iPad\u2019s screen. (On an older iPhone without a notch, you\u2019ll have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen instead.)<\/p>\n<p>Tap the button with the Shazam logo. The button will light up and pulse while it listens to the audio around you. This notification appears along with all your other apps\u2019 notifications in your notification center.<\/p>\n<p>Your iPhone will only listen for 10 to 15 seconds after you tap the button. If it can\u2019t identify a song in that period of time, you\u2019ll see a notification saying a song wasn\u2019t detected.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Use_an_App_Like_Shazam_for_More_Features\"><\/span>Use an App Like Shazam for More Features<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want more features, you\u2019ll need a separate music recognition app on your iPhone or iPad. The integrated music recognition features rely on Shazam, the music recognition app Apple purchased.<\/p>\n<p>Shazam still has an iPhone and iPad app you can install, and it has more features. For example, the Shazam app supports \u201cAuto Shazam.\u201d In this mode, Shazam will stay in the background on your iPhone or iPad, listen to everything around you, and store a history of songs it\u2019s heard. For example, let\u2019s say you\u2019re at a party and you love the playlist: You can enable Auto Shazam mode and your phone or tablet will automatically remember all the songs that played.
