Mitt Romney? Mitch McConnell?\u201d In fact, \u201cthere are several Republicans well suited to pick up where Trump will leave off,\u201d such as Sen. Tom Cotton (Ark.) and Gov. Ron DeSantis (Fla.). \u201cThey seem to have learned from Trump. The rest of the party should do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the left: Warning Signs for Dems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe conservative tilt\u201d of the 2020 electorate, \u201cparticularly amid such high turnout, bodes ill for Democrats,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/a-warning-sign-for-democrats\/ar-BB1aHnKn\">warns Slate\u2019s William Saletan<\/a>. Conservatives outnumbered liberals by 9 points in 2016 exit polls; this year, \u201cthe margin is 13 points.\u201d And President Trump saw impressive gains among various groups, the \u201cbiggest\u201d of which \u2014 \u201cabout a dozen points\u201d \u2014 was among Christians: He got 71 percent of Protestants and 62 percent of Catholics. Democrats must learn from their \u201ctrouble attracting self-identified Christians\u201d and recognize \u201cthey can\u2019t count on the votes of people of color.\u201d They \u201cneed better turnout on the left\u201d and \u201cto consolidate a majority of independent voters. If they don\u2019t fix these problems, they could be looking at difficult maps for a long time to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>From the right: Down-Ballot Free-Market Wins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2020\/11\/free-market-victories-down-the-ballot\/\">National Review, Ryan Young tallies up<\/a> \u201cfree-market victories\u201d in ballot-measure results: Californians voted down a bid to expand rent control and passed a measure to rein in the state\u2019s insane anti-freelancer law, which \u201covershot its mark\u201d and put thousands of independent contractors out of work, \u201cincluding journalists, translators, office workers, actors, musicians and production crews.\u201d \u201cIllinois voters said no to giving their legislature the ability to raise taxes more easily.\u201d And \u201cWashington State voters came out against a plastic bag tax.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Religion beat: A Vatican Deal With Commie Devil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Joseph Cardinal Zen, the retired archbishop of Hong Kong, predicts that the Vatican\u2019s just-renewed agreement with the Beijing regime spells doom for the Catholic Church in China \u2014 and, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.firstthings.com\/web-exclusives\/2020\/11\/the-costs-of-the-vaticans-deal-with-china\">sighs Nina Shea at First Things<\/a>, \u201cit\u2019s hard to disagree with this dire pronouncement.\u201d The Communist Party gets the lion\u2019s share of the benefits, with \u201cPope Francis [lifting] excommunication for all seven\u201d of the bishops <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointed and promoted by Beijing, even though it continues to withhold recognition from 30 bishops from the underground church. The underground bishops, meanwhile, \u201chave recently endured detention, isolation, brainwashing and abuse.\u201d The sad bottom line: \u201cGiven that the CCP is now energetically working to consolidate totalitarian control over civil society, this partnership comes at a very high price \u2014 for the Chinese Catholic Church and for the Vatican\u2019s moral authority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conservative: Voters\u2019 Positive Messages<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, \u201cthe American people spoke,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/articles\/2020\/11\/05\/the_woke_lose_144602.html\">cheers Ben Shapiro at RealClearPolitics<\/a> \u2014 sending \u201ca variety of messages,\u201d most of them \u201cquite positive\u201d: They rejected pollsters\u2019 \u201coverconfident modeling.\u201d They stuck to their guns, whether in red, blue or purple states, despite the elites\u2019 \u201cmewling\u201d about Trump. They bucked the left\u2019s \u201cquest\u201d to \u201cpaint Americans into racial categories and then declare demographics destiny\u201d: Edison exit polling showed Trump gained \u201c2 points with white women; 4 points with black men and 4 points with black women; 3 points with Latino men and 3 points with Latino women.\u201d In California, they \u201crefused to greenlight the racist Proposition 16,\u201d which would\u2019ve paved the way for reparations and affirmative action. It\u2019s all \u201cexcellent <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>.\u201d Americans spoke as \u201cindividuals, not as members of contrived interest groups.
