\nNo matter the adversity,\u00a0Miley Cyrus<\/strong> is determined to move on as best she can!<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Wrecking Ball<\/em> singer opened up this week about the emotional side of some of the major life changes she\u2019s been through recently \u2014 most notably her divorce from actor\u00a0Liam Hemsworth<\/strong>, which was finalized in December 2019.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the superstar singer popped up on the popular Scandinavian talk show\u00a0Skavlan<\/em> to discuss new music, old heartbreak, and living life in between. In a nearly 15-minute long chat, Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong>\u2018 famous daughter got very real about some tough times over the last two years, including suddenly losing her home in a fire.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, though, the\u00a0Malibu<\/em> singer explained she\u2019s found a remarkably simple way to cope with some of these traumas \u2014 and it doesn\u2019t involve much crying.<\/p>\n

During the show, which was filmed virtually on Monday for a Norwegian TV audience, she revealed:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve gone through a lot of kind of trauma and loss in the last couple years. I had a house fire in Malibu, where I lost my house and went through a divorce recently, my grandma who I was super close with, I lost. In a way, I didn\u2019t spend too much time crying over it, and it wasn\u2019t because I was cold or trying to avoid feeling something, but it was just because it wasn\u2019t going to change it. I tried to just continue to be active in what I can control, otherwise you just start feeling like you\u2019re trapp<\/a>ed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ever intelligent and introspective, though, Miley acknowledged how her method for handling trauma is unique, at least from the perspective of society regarding how women deal with serious issues. The one-time\u00a0Disney Channel<\/strong> star speculated that she\u2019s \u201cgotten less emotional\u201d over time while better learning how to move forward.<\/p>\n

Cyrus further noted that \u201cany commitment to forever\u201d will \u201cinevitably lead to disappointment,\u201d which itself is quite an interesting idea regarding relationships! (Cue\u00a0Mike Pence<\/strong>\u2018s head exploding on that one! Ha!)<\/p>\n
