against Donald Trump, telling Americans in a spirited victory speech that he would be a president for all. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cI pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but unify,\u201d the former vice president said, \u201cwho doesn\u2019t see red states and blue states, only sees the United States.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Biden was joined by his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, hours after the Associated Press and major U.S. networks called the race for the former vice president over President Trump. The pair spoke in Wilmington, Del. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> Joe Biden defeats Donald Trump to become 46<sup>th<\/sup> U.S. president<\/p>\n<p>Harris, who will become the nation\u2019s first female vice president, spoke before Biden and said voters had ushered in \u201ca new day for America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou chose hope and unity, decency, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> and, yes, truth,\u201d said the California Democrat, who began her speech by quoting the late civil-rights leader and congressman John Lewis. We cannot repair the economy, restore our vitality, or relish life\u2019s most precious moments \u2026 all the moments that matter most to us, until we get it under control,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>Biden said he would on Monday name a group of  scientists and experts to convert his pandemic-fighting plans into a blueprint for action after he is inaugurated. <\/p>\n<p>As MarketWatch reports, analysts said U.S. stock prices<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"negative\">-0.02%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       are poised to move higher in the wake of a declared winner and the end of election uncertainty. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> Here\u2019s what a Biden presidency spells for stocks, bonds and commodities<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s proposals will not automatically have an easy path in Congress, however. Senate control remains undecided but is likely to remain in Republican hands after a pair of runoffs in Georgia in January.
