You can withdraw them to your Nintendo 3DS later or transfer them to newer generation Pok\u00e9mon <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s like <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield <\/em>on the Nintendo Switch. Pok\u00e9mon Bank is a paid service that costs $4.99 USD for an entire year, billed annually.\u00a0You can cancel at any time.<\/p>\n<p>You can store up to 3,000 Pok\u00e9mon in the Pok\u00e9mon Bank application, and transfers from Pok\u00e9mon Bank (Nintendo 3DS) to Pok\u00e9mon Home (Nintendo Switch) are one-way only. Once you have moved your Pok\u00e9mon from the Nintendo 3DS to Pok\u00e9mon Home on the Nintendo Switch, you cannot transfer them back into Pok\u00e9mon Bank on the Nintendo 3DS.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_698406\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-698406 size-full\" alt=\"Pok\u00e9mon-Home diagram\" width=\"650\" height=\"328\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us\/\" data-credittext=\"Pok\u00e9mon\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"imagecredit\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/us\/\">Pok\u00e9mon<\/a><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To get started, you will need a Nintendo 3DS Pok\u00e9mon game cartridge inserted into your Nintendo 3DS (or have a digital download of the game) installed on your Nintendo 3DS.<\/p>\n<p>Pok\u00e9mon Bank is compatible with the following games:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon X<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Y<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Omega Ruby<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Alpha Sapphire<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Moon<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Sun<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Ultra Moon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Next, download <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.com\/games\/detail\/pokemon-bank-3ds\/\">Pok\u00e9mon Bank<\/a> from the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS. The application is free to download, and you must be connected to the internet. It\u2019s also a good idea to plug your console into a power adapter while making changes.<\/p>\n<p>Launch the Pok\u00e9mon Bank application with a Pok\u00e9mon game cartridge in slot, or a digital copy downloaded onto your Nintendo 3DS.\u00a0If you\u2019ve never had a Pok\u00e9mon Bank pass, you will be required to purchase a new subscription or renew your old subscription. You will need a subscription pass to move Pok\u00e9mon between your Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo Switch, but thankfully it\u2019s very cheap to do so, and you get a modest subscription period that doesn\u2019t automatically renew\u2014so if this is a one-time thing, don\u2019t fret, and if you want to renew and do this all over again, it\u2019s easy to do so.<\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve launched Pok\u00e9mon Bank, you will see a message saying \u201cYour pass has expired. Would you like to purchase a new pass?\u201d Select \u201cYes.\u201d The subscription is a 365-day pass for $4.99 USD, and your subscription will automatically cancel after one year.<\/p>\n<p>By selecting \u201cPurchase\u201d on the next page, you can \u201cAdd Funds\u201d to your Nintendo Account in the amount of $10 USD, $20 USD, etc. You also have the option to choose \u201cNeeded Funds\u201d which will add the exact amount needed for the Pok\u00e9mon Bank subscription and no more than that. Select \u201cAdd Needed Funds\u201d and click \u201cYes\u201d to confirm the payment needed for the yearly subscription.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-698409\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/xnintendo-3ds-add-funds-1.png.pagespeed.gp+jp+jw+pj+ws+js+rj+rp+rw+ri+cp+md.ic.jlBxbmJmX0.jpg\" alt=\"nintendo 3ds add funds\" width=\"650\" height=\"365\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Input your credit card information and select \u201cAdd Funds.\u201d You will be redirected back to the Pok\u00e9mon Bank application, and now you will have full access to the Pok\u00e9mon Bank features. You can begin moving Pok\u00e9mon to the Pok\u00e9mon Bank. Select \u201cUse Pok\u00e9mon Bank\u201d and when you see the desired Pok\u00e9mon Game title appear on your screen, choose \u201cUse This Game\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pok\u00e9mon you have stored in the games PC Box will be displayed here, which means Pok\u00e9mon in your current party cannot be placed here unless you move them over. To move Pok\u00e9mon from your party into Pok\u00e9mon Bank, close the Pok\u00e9mon Bank application and launch the game. Then move the Pok\u00e9mon in your main party to your PC box, save and close the game, then open Pok\u00e9mon Bank again.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_698407\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-698407 size-full\" alt=\"The Pok\u00e9mon Bank interface\" width=\"480\" height=\"288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/uk\/pokemon-video-games\/pokemon-bank\/\" data-credittext=\"Pok\u00e9mon Bank\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"imagecredit\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pokemon.com\/uk\/pokemon-video-games\/pokemon-bank\/\">Pok\u00e9mon Bank<\/a><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When you have all of the Pok\u00e9mon you want to store in your bank on your PC Box, just move them from your box to the Pok\u00e9mon Bank by selecting with \u201cA\u201d and dropping them into the bank box. It\u2019s also really important to remember that Pok\u00e9mon in your game with nicknames cannot be changed after you\u2019ve moved them into the bank\u2014so be sure to change any nicknames in the game before moving them over! Pok\u00e9mon with the Pok\u00e9rus virus can be transferred over successfully without losing Pok\u00e9rus. You cannot transfer eggs over into Pok\u00e9mon Bank.<\/p>\n<p>When you have finished moving your Pok\u00e9mon into Pok\u00e9mon Bank, \u201cSave and Quit\u201d with the \u201cX\u201d button on your Nintendo 3DS. <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/em> does not have a completed Pok\u00e9mon national Pok\u00e9dex, so some Pok\u00e9mon will not transfer.<\/p>\n<p>See <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/galarpokedex.shtml\">here<\/a> for a complete list of Pok\u00e9mon that can be traded into <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/em>.\u00a0Be sure to check out the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/isleofarmordex.shtml\">Isle of Armor Pok\u00e9dex<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/thecrowntundradex.shtml\">The Crown Tundra Pok\u00e9dex<\/a> that were added in each expansion.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Move_Pokemon_From_Pokemon_Bank_Into_Pokemon_Home\"><\/span>How to Move Pok\u00e9mon From Pok\u00e9mon Bank Into\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Home<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve transferred your Pok\u00e9mon into Pok\u00e9mon Bank on the Nintendo 3DS, you can begin moving those Pok\u00e9mon into Pok\u00e9mon Home on the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/home.pokemon.com\/en-us\/\">Pok\u00e9mon Home<\/a> is a cloud service for the Nintendo Switch and the application can also be accessed on your mobile device. Pok\u00e9mon Home has a Premium Plan with options to pay for one month ($2.99), three months ($4.99), or 12 months ($15.99). You can cancel your subscription at any time on the Nintendo eShop.<\/p>\n<p>By linking the same Nintendo Account to both the Nintendo Switch version and mobile version of Pok\u00e9mon Home, you\u2019ll be able to access the same Pok\u00e9mon Boxes on both versions! Remember that only Pok\u00e9mon present in\u00a0the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/galarpokedex.shtml\">Galar Pok\u00e9dex<\/a>\u00a0can be moved to <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_697906\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-697906 size-full\" alt=\"pokemon premium\" width=\"650\" height=\"331\" src=\"https:\/\/home.pokemon.com\/en-us\/\" data-credittext=\"Pok\u00e9mon Home\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"imagecredit\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/home.pokemon.com\/en-us\/\">Pok\u00e9mon Home<\/a><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Since moving Pok\u00e9mon from Pok\u00e9mon Bank to Pok\u00e9mon Home is a feature under the Premium plan, you must first purchase a Pok\u00e9mon Home Premium plan before you can make any transfers from Pok\u00e9mon Bank to Pok\u00e9mon Home. You can now use the feature to move Pok\u00e9mon from the Nintendo 3DS to the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n<p>Before you begin, it\u2019s important to note that Pok\u00e9mon brought over from the Nintendo 3DS cannot be sent back.\u00a0For a list of Pok\u00e9mon that can be transferred into <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/em>, look <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/galarpokedex.shtml\">here<\/a>. Be sure to check out the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/isleofarmordex.shtml\">Isle of Armor Pok\u00e9dex<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.serebii.net\/swordshield\/thecrowntundradex.shtml\">The Crown Tundra Pok\u00e9dex<\/a> to see the additional Pok\u00e9mon that were added in the DLC.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Pok\u00e9mon transferred from <em>Let\u2019s Go Pikachu<\/em> and <em>Let\u2019s Go Eevee<\/em> cannot be moved back to those games once you have moved them to your <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/em> game.<\/p>\n<p>Grab your Nintendo 3DS and launch the\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Bank application, then look for the \u201cMove Pok\u00e9mon to Pok\u00e9mon Home\u201d option on menu that appears.<\/p>\n<p>A notice will appear informing you that Pok\u00e9mon moved from the Pok\u00e9mon Bank to Pok\u00e9mon Home cannot be transferred back to Pok\u00e9mon Bank (explained above.) Scroll down and choose \u201cBegin\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>You will now see all of your Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Bank, and you can only transfer complete boxes at a time, so if you want to handpick, exit this menu with the \u201cB\u201d button and go back to the main menu, select \u201cUse Pok\u00e9mon Bank\u201d and move your Pok\u00e9mon into separate boxes, then come back here.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-698172\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/xpokemon-home-to-pokemon-bank.png.pagespeed.gp+jp+jw+pj+ws+js+rj+rp+rw+ri+cp+md.ic.Mb5jHzP3G_.jpg\" alt=\"pokemon home to pokemon bank\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Select a Box that you wish to move over, and press \u201cY\u201d on the Nintendo 3DS to confirm your selection. When prompted \u201cMove these Pok\u00e9mon to Pok\u00e9mon Home\u201d? Choose \u201cYes,\u201d and grab your Nintendo Switch again. Do not turn off your Nintendo 3DS console.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the Nintendo Switch icon located near the button and confirm with \u201cA\u201d. Click the \u201cBegin Move\u201d button and \u201cBegin\u201d on the next screen, then read the prompt and choose \u201cReady!\u201d.
