Last week, Bandai Namco teased<\/span><\/a> a new mobile game for The Idolmaster<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/a> <\/i><\/b>series<\/a>, with the full reveal promised for November 8 in Japan. Now that the live stream has come and gone, we know The Idolmaster: Poplinks <\/i><\/b>is a mobile puzzle game featuring characters from a variety of The Idolmaster <\/i>sub-series, and it's due out for iOS and Android devices sometime in 2021.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Poplinks <\/i>will feature characters from The Idolmaster<\/i>, Cinderella Girls<\/i>, Million Live<\/i>, SideM<\/i>, and Shiny Colors<\/i>, complete with customization options for idol units and individual characters. As a producer, players will be able to form a unit of three characters, which can be obtained by scouting with Offers or through gacha mechanics. <\/p>\n

The gameplay itself is a block-matching puzzler with some special features, like Fever Time, during which the producer's favorite song starts playing. Idols also have their own equippable skills that can boost scores, and there will be more than 70 characters and 15 songs available at launch, with more to be added over time.<\/p>\n
