\n \u201cThis Is Us\u201d star Susan Kelechi Watson said Saturday she is \u201csingle,\u201d a year after revealing her engagement to actor and activist Jaime Lincoln Smith.<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 38-year-old actress \u2014 who portrays Beth Pearson on the NBC drama \u2014 celebrated Joe Biden\u2019s victory<\/a> in the 2020 presidential election, while also shedding light on her personal life.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I thought becoming Single was gonna be the only eventful thing to happ<\/a>en to me this year. #TwentyTwenty,\u201d Watson penned.<\/p>\n

Last September, Watson announced her engagement to Smith, sharing the news<\/a> on Instagram at the time. As of Sunday, the post has been deleted.<\/p>\n

As Saturday\u2019s celebrations continued, Watson also congratulated Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on making \u201cHERSTORY!\u201d<\/p>\n

Both Watson and Harris attended Howard University.<\/p>\n

A rep for Watson did not immedia<\/a>tely return our request for comment.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
