\n A woman was arrested for allegedly knocking a camera out of the hand of an NYPD detective during an anti-police protest in Manhattan on Sunday, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The NYPD released footage<\/a> of the 4:40 p.m. confrontation near the intersection of 38th Street and 10th Avenue in Hell\u2019s Kitchen that resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Nelae White.<\/p>\n

At first, White can be seen in the footage stopping to say something to the detective carrying the camera as nearby protests chant, \u201cNo cops, no KKK, no facist USA.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moments later, White allegedly smacks the recording device away from the detective and tries to calmly walk away before she\u2019s tackled to the ground by police, the video shows.<\/p>\n

Several other protesters on bikes were knocked down during the scuffle, but nobody else was arrested during the episode, according to police.<\/p>\n

As officers detained White, other cops showed up and formed a line to keep the other protesters at a distance, according to the video.<\/p>\n

White, a Bushwick, Brooklyn resident, was charged with criminal mischief.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
