Morgan analyst Rebecca Wen, as she raised her stock price target on the belief the Shanghai-based company will be a \u201cwinner\u201d in the electric vehicle market.<\/p>\n<p> Wen also raised her price target on XPeng Inc.\u2019s stock<br \/>\n        XPEV,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/219982686\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-2.90%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       as she expects the Guangdong, China-based company will win the mid- to lower-end EV market.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Nio\u2019s<br \/>\n        NIO,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/204905836\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.70%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       price target was raised to $46 from $41 and XPeng\u2019s target was boosted to $43 from $27. Wen kept her overweight ratings on both stocks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe Nio will be a long-term winner in the premium EV space, with  ~ 30% market share by 2025,\u201d Wen wrote in a note to clients. \u201cA higher valuation can be justified as Nio is leading the transformation of its business model in China\u2019s smart EV market \u2014 from direct sales currently to potential monetization of both \u2018B\u2019 and \u2018C\u2019 customers through its platform and content offering in the future \u2014 similar to the phenomenon we witness in e-commerce business now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The stock slipped 0.1% ahead of Monday\u2019s open. The stock has skyrocketed 935.6% year to date through Friday. In comparison, U.S.-based rival Tesla Inc.\u2019s stock<br \/>\n        TSLA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203558040\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.85%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       has run up 413.9% this year and the S&amp;P 500 index<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"negative\">-0.02%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       has gained 8.6%.<\/p>\n<p>XPeng shares advanced 0.1% in premarket trading. The stock, which went public on Aug. 27, has soared 79.6% just this month.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Wen upgraded Dongfeng Motor Group Co.
