\n He\u2019s selling his time for an excellent cause.<\/p>\n

Keanu Reeves, 55, is auctioning off a 15-minute Zoom date with himself and donating the money to Camp Rainbow Gold, a summer program for Idaho children with cancer.<\/p>\n

\u201cBill & Ted. Speed. The Matrix. John Wick. You know him. You love him. This is truly priceless and now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home!\u201d reads the online auction descript<\/a>ion for the \u201cShine for Camp\u201d fundraiser. \u201cGet your questions ready and spend 15-minutes with actor, director, producer and musician, Keanu Reeves.\u201d<\/p>\n

As of this writing, the current highest bid is $19,000 \u2014 or about $1,266 per minute of Reeves\u2019 virtual time.<\/p>\n

Restrictions include that the call must take place the week of July 6 and that both Camp Rainbow Gold and Reeves retain the right to cancel the call \u201cif there is threatening or inappropriate behavior.\u201d The auction is open through noon MDT Monday.<\/p>\n

Bidders shouldn\u2019t get their hopes too high for the date, though, as Reeves isn\u2019t single. The \u201cMatrix\u201d star has reportedly been dating girlfriend Alexandra Grant, a visual artist, for years.<\/p>\n

In addition to donating his time, the actor has two movies<\/a> in the works, both long-awaited sequels: \u201cThe Matrix 4\u201d and \u201cBill & Ted Face the Music.\u201d<\/p>\n

To promote the totally bodacious follow-up to the \u201980s cult classic, Reeves and co-star Alex Winter delivered a congratulatory message to the class of 2020 this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done,\u201d Reeves said in the virtual graduation ceremony for the students of San Dimas High School.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know that it\u2019s a tough time right now, and you\u2019re having to do this virtual graduation,\u201d added Winter. \u201cWe want to wish you the best of luck moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd party on!\u201d Reeves concluded the video message.<\/p>\n

For those looking to donate to Camp Rainbow Gold at a lower price point, Hollywood voice actor Rob Paulsen \u2014 the voice of Pinky from \u201cPinky and the Brain\u201d and Yakko from \u201cAnimaniacs\u201d \u2014 is also auctioning his time for the organization. The highest bid for a one-hour Zoom call and private lesson with Paulsen is currently $500.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
