“#Jonas Brothers have surprise cameo on Netflix’s ‘Dash & Lily’<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n The Jonas Brothers are suddenly everywhere \u2014 including on the new Netflix show \u201cDash & Lily.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on a book series<\/a> by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, the holiday rom-com show \u2014 which is now streaming \u2014 follows New York teens Dash (Austin Abrams, \u201cEuphoria\u201d) and Lily (Midori Francis, \u201cGotham\u201d) as they get to know each other via a written correspondence in a notebook.<\/p>\n

Lily initially leaves it on the shelf of iconic bookstore the Strand, in hopes of sparking a romance with a like-minded book nerd. It doesn\u2019t work out quite how she anticipated, since Dash is grumpy where she\u2019s quirky and cheerful. But like all classic rom-coms, opposites attract.<\/p>\n

Now, how do the Jonas Brothers play into this? (Spoilers for the end of \u201cDash & Lily\u201d ahead.)<\/p>\n

In the final stretch of the show, Dash and Lily finally meet in person after their long written correspondence \u2014 but things go awry. Frantic to fix it, cynical Dash runs to meet his friend Boomer (Dante Brown), who happ<\/a>ens to be at a Jonas Brothers concert for New Year\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The camera cuts to the three brothers there in the flesh: Nick, 28, Joe, 31, and Kevin, 33. They\u2019re playing Christmas tunes on an outdoor stage at Hudson Yards.<\/p>\n

Later, Dash, Boomer and some of their other pals find a quiet place to talk about how Dash is going to win over Lily. They\u2019re interrupted by Nick Jonas, because it turns out this \u201cquiet place\u201d is his trailer.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou need to go to her .\u2009.\u2009. your friends are right,\u201d Nick tells Dash, after listening to his tale of romantic woe. \u201cIf you want this girl to give you a second chance, you\u2019ve got to get real. Also, why are you in my trailer?\u201d<\/p>\n

Within the world of the \u201cDash & Lily\u201d story, it turns out that Nick went to band camp with Dash\u2019s friends who are in a Jewish punk band (which is how they have access to his trailer). Outside of the plot, Nick is an executive producer of the show.<\/p>\n

Nick continues his romantic pep talk by saying. \u201cWhen I proposed, I had to dig deep, I had to get vulnerable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dash points to him and says, \u201cThat\u2019s good. That\u2019s really good. Alright, we\u2019ve got to go!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t done with my story though,\u201d says a confused Nick.<\/p>\n

Dash gives him a hug before running out of the trailer. \u201cNo, you were perfect. You were great. Thank you, Nick Jonas!\u201d<\/p>\n

The real-life experience was just as thrilling, Abrams said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was great, I got to meet all the brothers,\u201d Abrams told The Post in a recent interview about the show. \u201cThey\u2019re all really nice guys.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDash & Lily\u201d is now available to stream on Netflix.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
