stocks higher <\/p>\n<p>Johnson, one of the first world leaders to comment at length about the breakthrough, said: \u201cIs it good news? Of course it\u2019s good news, but there\u2019s a long way to go, I\u2019m afraid, before we\u2019ve got this thing to be perfect.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a routine press conference, he added: \u201cI just don\u2019t want to let people run away with the idea that this development, today is necessarily a home run, a slam dunk, a shot to the back of the net yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s obviously potentially very very good news, but there\u2019s still a lot of hurdles that need to be overcome before we can be certain about the efficacy of this vaccine and exactly how it is going to work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I can say is that if and when this vaccine is <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roved, we in this country will be ready to start using it. I\u2019m certain of that.\u201d He went as far as to suggest that \u201cwe could begin to see some vaccine by Christmas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The country has ordered over 300 million doses of five other vaccine candidates, as well.<\/p>\n<p>The prime minister reiterated his congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and running mate Sen. Kamala Harris, and said the U.K. has always had a strong relationship with the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve no doubt that we will continue to have a very, very strong, very close relationship with our American friends, and one thing that is very exciting, that you\u2019re already seeing from the incoming administration, is their willingness to join the U.K. in the campaign to tackle climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Margin:<\/strong> Messages to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are pouring in from world leaders after election result is finally called <\/p>\n<p>When asked if he had spoken to President Donald Trump and advised him to throw in the towel rather than continue to assert he will emerge as the Nov. 3 election\u2019s rightful winner, Johnson said: \u201cI don\u2019t wish to offer any other commentary on the U.S. election. It is not for me to offer commentary on it.
