You\u2019d get something like\u00a0<strong><em>Warrior Nun<\/em><\/strong>, the new Netflix action <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> that delivers on everything it promises to. It\u2019s about warriors\u2026who are nuns.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Warrior_Nun_Trailer\"><\/span>Warrior Nun Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/An0bZpuhiBE?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p id=\"vyqUOi\">Based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/anime-manga\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"6\" title=\"Anime || Manga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manga<\/a>-style comic series of the same name by <strong>Ben Dunn<\/strong>,<em>\u00a0Warrior Nun<\/em>\u00a0follows a girl named Ava, who after a near-death experience, wakes up in a church with a strange symbol on her back and a new lease on life, literally. Ava has been recruited by an ancient society of nuns and priests who defend the world from demons, and that symbol on her back \u2014 a glowing halo \u2014 grants her superpowers to fight these demons, like phasing through walls and objects. But the thing is, Ava just wants to be a normal girl!<\/p>\n<p>The trailer is flippant and snarky, with same kind of cheeky tone that Joss Whedon\u2019s iconic\u00a0<em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>\u00a0had, and nearly the same teenage girl chosen-one narrative. But what\u00a0<em>Warrior Nun<\/em> has, in addition to an even crazier name than\u00a0<em>Buffy<\/em>, is a whole team of warrior nuns. Beatrice, Shotgun Mary, Lilith, and Camila are all recruits to this same society, and aren\u2019t too pleased that Ava is coming in to steal all the glory. But they must team up to deliver their righteous fury against a woman who has somehow unlocked a portal to heaven.<\/p>\n<p>The series seems a little more on the YA superhero side than the ridiculous pulp that the title promises, but\u00a0<em>Warrior Nun<\/em> at least seems to lean into the original comic\u2019s anime-style weirdness as well as the strangely rich genre of \u201cnunsploitation\u201d that inspired it. Maybe with\u00a0<em>Warrior Nun<\/em>, Netflix will have the power of God and anime on its side.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the synopsis for\u00a0<em>Warrior Nun<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Caught in the middle of an ancient war between good and evil, a young girl wakes up in a morgue with inexplicable powers. Her search for answers brings her to The Order of the Cruciform Sword, a secret society of warrior nuns sworn to protect the world from evil.
