James Lankford said in a radio interview Wednesday that President-elect Joe Biden should be receiving intelligence briefings that President Donald Trump has denied giving to him as he\u00a0challenges the 2020 election results.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Lankford, a member of the Oversight Committee, said on a Tulsa, Okla., radio station that he came to the conclusion based on President Bill Clinton allowing George Bush to receive the briefings as Al Gore challenged the 2000 election results.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThere\u2019s nothing wrong with Vice President Biden getting the briefings to be able to prepare himself so that he can be ready,\u201d Lankford\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.krmg.com\/news\/local\/lankford-guarantees-peaceful-transition-talks-about-covid-vaccine-prospects\/HURH354TWVCJNHVXM4DEUK332A\/\" class=\"icon none\">said on Tulsa station KRMG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s nothing wrong with a former vice president getting those. Kamala Harris is on the Intelligence Committee, she has all the clearance she needs to be able to do that. There is no loss from him getting the briefings,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> Services Administration could certify the election results by Friday \u2014 and he will push for Biden to receive the briefings after that is done.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf that\u2019s not occurring by Friday, I will step in to be able to push them and say this needs to occur, so that regardless of the outcome of the election \u2026 people can be ready for that task,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Every major <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> outlet in the country called the 2020 election race for\u00a0Joe Biden\u00a0last weekend, but Trump has\u00a0refused to concede.
