\n A 51-year-old man was fatally shot in East Flatbush Saturday morning, police said.<\/p>\n

Cops responding to a 911 call for Utica Avenue and Rutland Road at 10 a.m. found the unidentified victim shot in the head outside 575 Utica Ave., an NYPD spokesman said.<\/p>\n

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not know the nature of the dispute.<\/p>\n

Neighborhood residents said the victim was a mechanic.<\/p>\n

Residents decried the ongoing plague of gunplay across the Big App<\/a>le.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s crazy \u2026 It ain\u2019t worth it, man. It\u2019d been better to with whatever differences there were, fight and live to see tomorrow. I\u2019d rather get beat up than get shot. There\u2019s just too much killing going on,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n
