If you try to make an emergency call with Airplane Mode enabled, your iPhone will remind you to turn Airplane Mode off first.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disable_Emergency_SOS\"><\/span>Disable Emergency SOS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Starting with iOS 11, iPhones include a feature called \u201cEmergency SOS\u201d that allows quick access to emergency services if you press a combination of certain buttons on your device. Unfortunately, it\u2019s easy to hit these buttons by accident\u2014or have them pressed while the phone is in a pocket or a purse. That also means a kid holding your iPhone could trigger them accidentally without realizing it.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, it\u2019s easy to disable Emergency SOS in Settings.
