App<\/a>le includes accessibility features in its devices that help users with vision, physical, and motor impairments. Some settings, like \u201cReduce Transparency,\u201d can help everyone. Here\u2019s how to quickly access accessibility features from the Menu Bar or Control Center on Mac.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re running macOS Big Sur and newer, you can access these features right from the Menu Bar or using the Control Center. The Accessibility Shortcuts menu brings many frequently used accessibility features,\u00a0like grayscale mode, to the forefront so you won\u2019t need to go to System Preferences every time you want to enable or disable a feature.<\/p>\n

Accessibility Shortcuts is an extra module that you can add to the end of the Control Center, and it can be added directly to the Menu Bar.<\/p>\n

Once added, you\u2019ll have access to features like \u201cVoice Over,\u201d \u201cZoom,\u201d \u201cInvert Colors,\u201d \u201cColor Filters,\u201d \u201cIncrease Contrast,\u201d \u201cReduce Transparency,\u201d \u201cSticky Keys,\u201d \u201cSlow Keys,\u201d \u201cMouse Keys,\u201d \u201cAccessibility Keyboard,\u201d and \u201cHead Pointer.\u201d<\/p>\n

To do this, click the \u201cApple\u201d icon from the \u201cMenu Bar\u201d and then choose the \u201cSystem Preferences\u201d option.<\/p>\n

Here, click on the \u201cDock & Menu Bar\u201d button.<\/p>\n

\"Click<\/p>\n

From the sidebar, scroll down and choose the \u201cAccessibility Shortcuts\u201d option. Then, click the checkmark next to the \u201cShow in Control Center\u201d and \u201cShow in Menu Bar\u201d options. You can come back here and uncheck the options to remove the \u201cAccessibility Shortcuts\u201d icons.<\/p>\n

To access \u201cAccessibility Shortcuts\u201d from the \u201cControl Center,\u201d click the \u201cControl Center\u201d icon from the top-right corner of your Mac\u2019s screen.<\/p>\n

Now, click the new \u201cAccessibility Shortcuts\u201d icon from the bottom of the \u201cControl Center\u201d (or the \u201cMenu Bar\u201d).<\/p>\n

The menu will expand and you\u2019ll see every Accessibility Shortcuts.<\/p>\n

You can also drag and drop the \u201cAccessibility Shortcuts\u201d icon from the \u201cControl Center\u201d to the \u201cMenu Bar\u201d to pin it to the \u201cMenu Bar.\u201d To remove it, hold the \u201cCommand\u201d key, drag the button out to the desktop and then let go.<\/p>\n

Now, just click an accessibility feature to enable or disable it.<\/p>\n
