\n Meet the Getting triplets \u2014 the adorable trio of identical sisters who, according to experts, were born at odds ranging from 1 in 1 million to 1 in 200 million.<\/p>\n

Happ<\/a>y and healthy Charlotte, Cora and Emma, now aged 10\u2009\u00bd weeks, are finally home from the hospital and living with their devoted, slightly shell-shocked parents, Lauren and Andrew Getting.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are true miracles,\u201d New York City school teacher Lauren, 34, told The Post in between round-the-clock diaper changes and feedings.<\/p>\n

The babies, conceived naturally and consequently known as \u201cspontaneous,\u201d resulted from Lauren\u2019s one fertilized egg splitting into three, causing the embryos to share the same placenta.<\/p>\n

She learned about the extraordinary occurrence at her six-week checkup in March and broke the news<\/a> to Andrew, whom she had married only four months earlier, via text.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was driving and Siri translated the message for me,\u201d said Andrew. Fortunately, he didn\u2019t crash the car when he heard there were three fetuses in total. Still, the surprised dad thought Lauren was joking at first. As a result, Siri parlayed his immedia<\/a>te response: \u201cBulls\u2013t!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I soon realized Lauren was telling the truth,\u201d added the 40-year-old, who lost his salesman job due to the pandemic and is currently seeking employment.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Lauren\u2019s triple pregnancy was considered high risk, so she secured the care of specialist Dr. Victor Klein. Vice chair of obstetrics and gynecology at North Shore University Hospital, the renowned OB-GYN is based a half-hour drive from the couple\u2019s Lido Beach, LI, condominium.<\/p>\n

Klein said reports in medical literature of the chances of identical triplets range from 1 in a million to 1 in 200 million. \u201cWe can\u2019t pin it down exactly because the statistics are uncertain,\u201d he said. \u201cBut it is incredibly exciting when it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauren, who teaches biology at John Bowne High School in Flushing, suffered from extreme morning sickness \u2014 \u201cThe hormones were triple,\u201d she noted \u2014 as well as heartburn, acid reflux and high blood pressure.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of my first trimester, I was already as big as most women are in their third,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was the hardest physical thing I have ever done in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mercifully, her discomfort ended on Sept. 4, when Klein performed a C-section near the milestone of 32 weeks. Charlotte was delivered first, weighing 3 pounds, 15 ounces, then Emma arrived, at 4 pounds, 7 ounces, followed by 4-pound, 4-ounce Cora.<\/p>\n

The newborns, needing assistance to breathe, were whisked to the NICU. They stayed in the hospital for more than seven weeks, until their discharge on consecutive days toward the end of October.<\/p>\n

Since then, the Gettings\u2019 domestic life has been hectic. \u201cMy mom always said: \u2018God only gives you what you can handle,\u2019\u201d said Lauren, before quipping, \u201cAnd my answer is: \u2019I just wish he wouldn\u2019t trust me so much!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The new parents took turns feeding and changing the girls in 12-hour shifts, and have quickly picked up on their individual personalities.<\/p>\n

\u201cCharlotte is the spunky one, Cora is more laid-back, while Emma is very resilient,\u201d said Andrew, who has three kids \u2014 including twins \u2014 from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n

To tell the look-alikes apart, each one has a different color of child-safe nail polish on her toes.<\/p>\n

\u201cCora is peach, Charlotte is green and Emma is purple,\u201d explained Lauren.<\/p>\n

The couple has been struggling to keep up with the steep costs of caring for three newborns \u2014 including special formula for premature-birth infants and all that baby equipment. For example, they will need an estimated 10,000 diapers in one year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe only have one income at the moment, so it\u2019s tough,\u201d said Lauren, whose maternity leave ended Monday. \u201cBut we\u2019ve been helped and humbled by the generosity of our friends and family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s pal Patty Ortez launched a GoFundMe campaign<\/a> that\u2019s so far raised nearly $12,000 of the $25,000 goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really heartening, especially during the pandemic,\u201d said Andrew. \u201cI think people love to hear about three little miracles born at a time like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
