This has been due to a persistent unavailability of technical elements needed for our mobile phone business,\u201d the company said. \u201cHuawei [\u2026] has thus decided to sell all of its Honor business assets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce the sale is complete, Huawei will not hold any shares or be involved in any business management or decision-making activities in the new Honor company,\u201d the statement further reads. \u201cThis move has been made by Honor\u2018s industry chain to ensure its own survival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The value of the deal hasn\u2019t been disclosed but last week Reuters reported it could be worth <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-huawei-m-a-digital-china-exclusive-idUSKBN27Q0HB\">over $15 billion<\/a>. In its statement, Huawei added that Honor ships <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roximately 70 million units each year.<\/p>\n<p>Huawei has had a progressively deteriorating relationship with the US which took a turn for the worse earlier in 2020, when the Department of Justice brought 16 charges against <span>the China-based company, including its \u201calleged long-running practice of using fraud and deception to misappropriate sophisticated technology from US counterparts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The US further imposed sanctions on Huawei which barred it from using fundamental Android experiences like Gmail, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>, Drive, and even the Play Store.
