\n Cops this week released surveillance footage showing the Halloween beatdown of a man in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old victim was on Mother Gaston Boulevard near Sumpter Street at 9:30 p.m. that day when several strangers app<\/a>roached him, cops said.<\/p>\n

Video released by authorities late Monday shows several people chasing after the victim and then repeatedly punching and kicking him.<\/p>\n

The crew took off after the assault, which left the victim with a large cut on his face.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Brookdale University Medical Center in stable condition.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The suspects are still on the loose Tuesday. The motive for the beating was not immedia<\/a>tely clear.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
