\n President Trump on Friday alleged a double standard in favor of Democrats after Facebook and Twitter took action against his recent posts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Democrats are doing totally false advertising,\u201d Trump tweeted. \u201cThey have done NOTHING for years, including when Sleepy Joe was V.P., and they now have a Fake ad that my China Deal is losing us jobs. Opposite, & China is paying us $BILLIONS. Also, I LOVE Seniors & protect Preexisting C\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a second tweet, he wrote: \u201cWhy are the Democrats allowed to make fake and fraudulent ads. They should be called out.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was not immediately clear which ad Trump was citing from presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.<\/p>\n

Trump is calling out the social networks after Facebook removed an ad by his campaign using a red triangle as artwork alongside a warning about \u201cDangerous MOBS of far-left groups\u201d and after Twitter added a \u201cmanipulated media\u201d warning to a parody video he tweeted attacking CNN\u2019s coverage of race relations.<\/p>\n

The Facebook ad drew criticism because Nazis used a red triangle to identify leftist political prisoners in concentration camps. The Associated Press reports the red triangle is occasionally used by Antifa activists to identify themselves, akin to gay rights activists\u2019 use of the pink triangle.<\/p>\n

Facebook said Thursday that the social network \u201cprohibits using a banned hate group\u2019s symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video Trump tweeted mocked CNN by depicting a white baby running after a black baby, which, in context, shows the two toddlers playing together. \u201cBreaking news<\/a>: Terrified toddler runs from racist baby,\u201d a descript<\/a>ion says. The video concludes with a message: \u201cAmerica is not the problem. Fake news is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Facebook previously blocked Trump ads in March that described a digital survey as a Census. Last month, Twitter added its first fact-check labels to Trump tweets after he wrote that mail-in ballots could result in widespread fraud.<\/p>\n

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to request for comment by The Post, nor did the White House.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
