This led to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StuartMFoulkes\/status\/1328172958641111041\">rumors<\/a> about its impending demise.<\/p>\n<p>According to CoinMarketCap,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin-cash-abc-2\/\">BCHA<\/a>\u00a0opened trading at $11.78. The coin is now trading with substantial volume on exchanges and has been as low as $10.50 and as high as $21 before settling back down in the $19-$20 range. <\/p>\n<p>This represents a 70% increase over the last 24 hours and a boost in confidence that the coin will not be abandoned. However the BCHN version currently trades at $254.61, and is now listed\u00a0as Bitcoin Cash or BCH on most exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>Sechet also signaled positivity for the future of his creation on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> overnight,<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/deadalnix\/status\/1328663987999928320\"> inferring<\/a> that he would remain dedicated to the ABC community.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The BCHA crowd is the most amazing crowd in crypto, hands down.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that it is small, yet, says way more about crypto than it says about anything else.<\/p>\n<p>There is no other place I&#8217;d rather be in.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 deadaln\u0361\u0300\u0354\u035ci\u035e\u0357\u030e\u034e\u031c\u0356x\u0315\u0309\u031b\u030a\u0315\u0333\u0320\u0324\u0325\u0326 (@deadalnix) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/deadalnix\/status\/1328663987999928320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 17, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>Losing its claim to the Bitcoin Cash name and BCH ticker, BCHA faces heavy crosswinds as a new coin in terms of gaining merchant and exchange support. In addition to these problems, only a<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cash.coin.dance\/\"> handful<\/a> of blocks have been added to the BCHA chain by miners since Nov 15, the date of the fork. The slowdown is the result of a lingering imbalance between an overly-high mining difficulty and a lack of hash power necessary to find blocks at said difficulty.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent BCHA<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blockchair.com\/bitcoin-abc\/blocks\"> block<\/a>, which took seven hours to find, contained over 14,000 transactions \u2014 a substantial uptick from the previous blocks\u2019 count of 1,674. It also contained slightly over 0.9 BCHA in transaction fees, which is $19.40 at today\u2019s prices. Per the new coinbase rules implemented by Bitcoin ABC, 8% of the newly-mined coins along with 8% of transaction fees went to the protocol development fund, which is a total of 0.57 BCHA, or $12.41. Although BCHA blocks are still not being found at a normal rate, this problem is expected to subside with BCHA\u2019s next difficulty adjustment.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike the political and personal drama that unfolded during the last Bitcoin Cash hard fork in 2018, BCHA\u2019s \u201cbenevolent dictator\u201d Sechet has been amicable in terms of acknowledging the will of the community and the likelihood of ABC\u2019s defeat. On Nov 12, three days before the expected fork, Bitcoin ABC initiated the<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitcoinabc.org\/2020\/11\/12\/the-bitcoincash-org-domain-has-been-transferred-to-a-new-owner\/\"> transfer<\/a> of the bitcoincash.org domain to parties loyal to the majority Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN) client implementation, in anticipation of not emerging victorious from the impending hash war.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin ABC has also said that it will continue to<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitcoinabc.org\/2020\/11\/06\/bitcoin-abc-will-support-both-bcha-and-bchn-after-the-chain-split\/\"> support<\/a> both BCHA and BCHN implementations of the Bitcoin Cash client after the fork in order to serve businesses who have adopted the coin as a method of payment.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bitcoin ABC will support both BCHA and BCHN after the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BCH?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BCH<\/a> chain\u00a0split. <\/p>\n<p>Businesses have the freedom to choose between the two chains, while still being able to run battle-tested Bitcoin ABC software.<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/57dlgKcpvz\">https:\/\/t.co\/57dlgKcpvz<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zjsoe8TJE2\">pic.twitter.com\/zjsoe8TJE2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bitcoin ABC (@Bitcoin_ABC) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bitcoin_ABC\/status\/1324776600290926594?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 6, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin Cash has faced an uphill battle raising funds for development. In August 2020, Bitcoin ABC<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.bitcoinabc.org\/2020\/08\/18\/new-release-bitcoin-abc-0-22-0-is-available-to-download\/\"> launched<\/a> 0.22.0 of their client, introducing the coinbase changes as an attempt to help ensure the continual availability of funds for developers of the protocol.
