rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ly for digital bank accounts though its Google Pay wallet as the internet giant dives deeper into financial <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>. <\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Google announced Wednesday that beginning in 2021, consumers will be able to obtain digital bank accounts, which it\u2019s calling \u201cPlex\u201d accounts, from within Google Pay. These accounts will be offered by 11 banks and credit unions to start, and users will be able to get both checking and savings accounts without monthly fees, minimum-balance requirements or overdraft fees. <\/p>\n<p> The company said in a blog post that users can currently join a waitlist to get Plex accounts from Citi and Stanford Federal Credit Union.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t miss: Affirm, PayPal co-founder\u2019s fintech startup, files for IPO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bankrate chief financial analyst Greg McBride highlighted in a statement that Google isn\u2019t actually offering the accounts, but rather is partnering with existing financial institutions. \u201cBanks and credit unions integrating with Google Pay will appeal to young adults and those without an existing banking relationship,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>The announcement came as part of a broader list of upgrades to the Google Pay wallet, including a way to see transactions in a \u201cconversational view\u201d that shows payments to a group of friends or to a given retailer in separate screens. The company will also let Google Pay users obtain and view rewards from retailers such as Target Corp.<br \/>\n        TGT,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207799045\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+2.33%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Warby Parker within the app, and it will allow people who\u2019ve linked their bank accounts to the platform to track spending by categories, including granular breakdowns, like transactions made at Mexican restaurants. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u201cOne of the reasons Gmail is so successful is because of its excellent searchability,\u201d said Ted Rossman, an industry analyst at Bankrate, in a statement. \u201cAdding Google\u2019s search expertise to users\u2019 finances should resonate with consumers who want to better understand their money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alphabet shares<br \/>\n        GOOG,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205453964\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.32%<\/bg-quote><\/p>\n<p>        GOOGL,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202490156\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.19%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       lost 1.2% in Wednesday\u2019s session.
