Famitsu<\/a> has published its estimated physical game<\/a> software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of November 9, 2020 to November 15, 2020. <\/span><\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> for PlayStation 4 was the top-selling new game, launching at 84,475 retail sales. Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em> for PlayStation 4 followed at 45,055 sales.<\/p>\n

Marvelous and Edelweiss\u2019 Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin<\/em> also performed strongly, opening at 32,906 sales on Switch and 22,955 sales on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 55,861 units sold.<\/p>\n

On the hardware side, PlayStation 5 launched at 118,085 units sold and Xbox Series<\/a> at 20,534 units sold\u2014both in low supply and high demand. Read more about those numbers here. The Switch family sold 116,267 units, while the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,974 units, and the 3DS family sold 497 units.<\/p>\n
