We know there is a season 6 coming, but beyond that, the future has not been made clear.<\/p>\n<p>Were we hoping for a season 7 renewal this year? At one point, it was certainly a pipe-dream sort of possibility in our mind. Yet, everything has been pushed back due to the global health crisis. We\u2019ll have more news coming\u2026<\/p>\n<p>For now, what we can pass along is Sam\u2019s latest comment on the subject of the future in an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/parade.com\/1121976\/paulettecohn\/outlander-sam-heughan-book-clanlands\/\">Parade<\/a>, promoting his new book\u00a0<em>Clanlands\u00a0<\/em>(co-authored by Graham McTavish) and his upcoming\u00a0<em>Men in Kilts\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>: \u201cI hope we get to the end and I hope we finish it properly \u2026 We love the story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Note that obviously, Starz has the final season on more\u00a0<em>Outlander\u00a0<\/em>seasons as opposed to Sam. The article does reiterate a few things that we\u2019ve noted here, including that season 6 will likely start filming in January (subject to change) and that\u00a0<em>Men in Kilts\u00a0<\/em>will premiere next year.<\/p>\n<p>One thing that does give us hope for more\u00a0<em>Outlander\u00a0<\/em>is the fact that Starz ordered\u00a0<em>Men in Kilts\u00a0<\/em>in the first place. That shows a greater commitment to the brand in some shape or form; sure,\u00a0<em>Men in Kilts\u00a0<\/em>isn\u2019t officially connected to the\u00a0<em>Outlander\u00a0<\/em>universe, but it\u2019s there in spirit thanks to Scotland, Heughan, and of course Graham.
