\nBeing stuck in quarantine has really changed all of our perspectives \u2014 including <\/span>Jennifer Lopez<\/b>, who app<\/a>arently realized she was failing as a parent!<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview with WSJ<\/em> released Wednesday, the Grammy<\/strong> nominee spoke candidly about her quarantine, revealing her children took issue with her constant absence due to her hectic work schedule.<\/p>\n

She shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually loved being home and having dinner with the kids every night, which I hadn\u2019t done in probably \u2014 ever. And the kids kind of expressed to me, like, the parts that they were fine with about our lives and the parts they weren\u2019t fine with.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Uh oh.<\/p>\n

Sounds like some real serious conversation around that dinner table! These talks, however, provided J.Lo with a truer glimpse into what was happening at home \u2014 a perspective she never could\u2019ve gleamed while travel<\/a>ing the world on tour and spending time on movie sets. Quarantine has some benefits after all!<\/span><\/p>\n

The dancer added:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou thought you were doing OK, but you\u2019re rushing around and you\u2019re working and they\u2019re going to school and we\u2019re all on our devices. We\u2019re providing this awesome life for them, but at the same time, they need us. They need us in a different way. We have to slow down and we have to connect more. And, you know, I don\u2019t want to miss things.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, we\u2019re glad to hear that \u2014 if nothing else \u2014 Jenny From The Block has gotten some quality time in with her twins, Max<\/strong> and Emme<\/strong>, whom she shares with ex-husband <\/span>Marc Anthony<\/b>. And we can\u2019t forget her blended family, too, which includes fianc<\/span>\u00e9<\/span> Alex Rodriguez<\/b> and his two children, Ella<\/strong> and Natasha<\/strong>, from his previous marriage to <\/span>Cynthia Scurtis<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of A-Rod, wedding bells were<\/em> just around the corner for these two lovebirds \u2014 the only real holdup is COVID!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A source told <\/span>Us<\/span><\/em>\u00a0in April:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJ.Lo wants to marry A-Rod shortly after things go back to normal. She wants to marry him and celebrate their love in front of her family and close friends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ugh, well, guess we\u2019ll have to wait a little longer before seeing what we\u2019re sure will be a BEAUTIFUL and glitzy wedding!<\/span><\/p>\n

Until things return to normal, Lopez is enjoying some quality time with her kiddos \u2014 and has recognized how precious the little moments are. She recently accepted the Icon Award at the People\u2019s Choice Awards<\/strong> and said during her acceptance speech:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like everybody aged, like, three years during this pandemic. I watched them [her kids] go from kind of young and naive to really, like, grown-ups to me now. When did this happen? They\u2019re not our babies anymore. They\u2019ve been given a dose of the real world, with the knowledge that things can be taken away from you and life is going to happen no matter what.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With uncertainty still lingering in the air about coronavirus, one positive thing is for sure: while people may be \u201crapidly\u201d aging, time also seems to be slowing down, too \u2014 giving parents like Lopez another opportunity to watch their kids grow up.<\/span><\/p>\n
