I want Bitcoin to be successful.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He implied that, during the next bull market, a bitcoin rally bodes well for other cryptocurrencies. <\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin has a large gravitational pull on other digital assets, including XRP, due to its sheer market dominance and wider appeal among investors. At <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/charts\/#dominance-percentage\">last check<\/a>, Bitcoin\u2019s dominance rate was 66.2%, meaning two-thirds of the total crypto market cap was held in BTC. <\/p>\n<p>During the peak of the altcoin boom in January 2018, Bitcoin\u2019s dominance rate fell to a low of around 32.8%, according to CoinMarketCap data. <\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin dominance has risen steadily over the past six weeks following a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of major price jumps. XRP is also breaking out this week, hitting a high of around $0.3075, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/symbols\/XRPUSD\/\">according<\/a> to TradingView data. <\/p>\n<p>Garlinghouse\u2019s positive outlook on Bitcoin comes less than two weeks after the Ripple executive warned corporations against holding the digital currency. <\/p>\n<p>In a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bgarlinghouse\/status\/1325842115880914944\">Nov. 9 tweet<\/a>, Garlinghouse implied that buying Bitcoin wasn\u2019t a good way to cozy up to the incoming Biden administration, which has taken a stronger stance on environmental protection. Bitcoin\u2019s resource-draining proof-of-work consensus, meanwhile, is said to be damaging to the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Under Biden&#8217;s leadership, publicly-traded companies may have to disclose all of their greenhouse gas-producing activities.
