\n Dramatic video footage shows a would-be robber holding a 64-year-old woman at knifepoint in Queens last Saturday.<\/p>\n

The man tried to mug the elderly victim as she was walking on a sidewalk in South Richmond Hill at about 8:40 a.m., according to police.<\/p>\n

The suspect held a knife to the woman\u2019s throat and demanded money, but fled empty-handed, cops said.<\/p>\n

Nearby surveillance footage released by police captured the attempted stick-up.<\/p>\n

The man can be seen app<\/a>roaching the woman from behind and wrapping his left arm around her neck.<\/p>\n

Seconds later, he twists her around before releasing her and fleeing as a car passes on the street, the video shows.<\/p>\n

The woman was uninjured and refused medical attention, police said.<\/p>\n
