Source: Digital Assets Data<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Alongside the $500 visit, Ether\u2019s first since June 2018, other major altcoins also showed signs of life, notably Litecoin (LTC), which with 12% gains outperformed Bitcoin on the day, and the only major altcoin to outperform BTC in the past month \u2014 by 7%.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Cointelegraph Markets analyst Micha\u00ebl van de Poppe had argued that a new \u201caltseason\u201d would need to wait, but that a realistic top for Ether\u2019s next bull run could be <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CryptoMichNL\/status\/1328999960419905536\">as high as $20,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><template data-name=\"subscription_form\" data-type=\"markets_outlook\"><\/template><\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Van de Poppe for Cointelegraph, meanwhile, Nugget\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> CEO Alex Saunders forecast ETH\/USD beating its current all-time highs of $1,400 by the end of 2021.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_rechallenges_18420_peak\"><\/span>Bitcoin rechallenges $18,420 peak<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bitcoin meanwhile firmly held the majority of attention on Friday, reclaiming $18,000 and continuing to hit resistance at its previous top of $18,420 from earlier in the week. <\/p>\n<p>Anticipation of further gains remains strong, with 2017 highs of $20,000 forming the only major resistance level higher up the chart. <\/p>\n<p>A reversal down, possibly to levels as low as $11,600, has yet to occur, with $17,200 now serving as a firm floor for bulls. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
