\n Hazel Sargent is a first-time calendar girl at 80.<\/p>\n

Stuck at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hazel, from Essex, England, claims she was \u201cbored\u201d when she decided to place her newly purchased produce just so<\/em> on her nude body. Since March, the grandmother has been forced into strict social<\/a> isolation due to her bone cancer diagnosis, which puts her at a higher risk of being infected by the coronavirus.<\/p>\n

She suddenly figured her fresh veggies could help cook up the perfect striptease to raise cash for charity.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019d had our delivery from Sainsbury\u2019s, and I spotted there were two large bits of broccoli and a great big bunch of bananas,\u201d she told Eastnews<\/a> Press Agency. \u201cI\u2019m a bit silly really but I just had a flash of inspiration, so I gave [my husband] Bob a shout, \u2018Can you come and take some photos, please?\u2019\u2009\u201d<\/p>\n

Her dutiful shutterbug hubby decided their backyard garden, secluded from neighbors, was the perfect backdrop for an earthy photo shoot \u2014 shots from which would spawn the new Upminster Golf Club 2021 Charity Calendar, to raise money for a nearby hospice. For \u00a310 ($13), donors receive Hazel\u2019s 12 months of seasonally inspired images in which she sports little more than branches, bunny ears or balloons.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d never ever done anything like this before in my life,\u201d said the newly crowned cheesecake queen, who has missed spending her free time on the greens lately. \u201cIt all just started out as a way of making my pals at the golf club laugh as I wasn\u2019t able to get out.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was a bold move considering the club has a strict dress code. \u201cI was a bit worried that some of the members at the club wouldn\u2019t be keen,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n

However, her saucy stunt was a hit among friends, who called it \u201ctastefully done\u201d and encouraged her to send more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt certainly helped beat the boredom of lockdown,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Bob, 83, called the project \u201creally good fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very proud of Hazel,\u201d said the retired scaffolder. \u201cWe all need a smile on our faces at the moment, as life has been tough for us all \u2014 hopefully this will help people do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy children are really proud of me,\u201d Hazel added. \u201cI think they couldn\u2019t quite believe it when I told them what I was up to.\u201d<\/p>\n

For now, anyone who wants to peep Hazel\u2019s parts will have to wait as Upminster\u2019s first run of 100 copies has already sold out. Meanwhile, Hazel has raised an additional \u00a31,650 ($2,180) from donors who told her to \u201ckeep the calendar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t really sure whether I should be offended or not,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it\u2019s all good fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
