Here\u2019s how to deregister your number from RCS.<\/p>\n<p>When switching from a device or messaging <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a> that supports RCS to one that does not, you may experience issues with messages not being sent to the new device or app. This problem can last <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/messages\/answer\/7189714?hl=en\">up to eight days<\/a> after switching. However, if you didn\u2019t do that, and you\u2019re experiencing these issues, it\u2019s possible to disconnect your phone number from RCS after the fact.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Turn_Off_RCS\"><\/span>How to Turn Off RCS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>First, we\u2019ll show you how to turn off RCS while you still have the original device.
