An Alabama man accused of killing his wife, who led an online life as an adult model, shared a number of sexually charged and troubling messages with her in the weeks leading up to Kat West\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

A murder trial is currently underway for Jeff West, the suburban Birmingham man accused of murdering Calera mom Kathleen Dawn West, who led a double life as an adult model online under the name \u201cKitty Kat West.\u201d <\/p>\n

According to AL.com<\/a>, Shelby County Circuit Judge Bill Bostick ruled on Wednesday that text messages found between the couple will be admissible in court, as the messages were a point of contention. <\/p>\n

The sexually charged messages between Kat West and Jeff West show a strong intimacy, but also show clear signs of strains in their relationship, according to officials who have seen the messages. <\/p>\n

In one December message \u2014 a few weeks before her death \u2014 Kat West accused her husband of \u201cthrowing away 14 years of marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another text read, \u201cI\u2019m never doing this holiday again with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prosecutors contend the messages reveal tension that led to West killing his wife with a blow to the head from a liquor bottle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Robbins argues that all messages should be admitted if the troubling ones are admitted, pointing to other messages where Kat West sent nudes and sexually charged messages to her husband in between the argumentative ones.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThank you for making me feel sexy,\u201d West said in another message to her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo me, it\u2019s a bunch of baloney,\u201d Robbins said this week, according to The Associated Press<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s supposed to show the volatile marriage they had. She\u2019s mad at him one minute and sending naked pictures to him and saying she loves him the next.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to ABC affiliate WBMA-LD<\/a>, Alabaster Police Department Lt. Daniel Goodwin told the court Wednesday that the couple listed each other as \u201cBig Pappa\u201d and \u201cMILF West\u201d in their phone contact names for each other.<\/p>\n

Robbins said Kat asked her husband to take pictures of her in pink panties, high heels and the pink bra she was found wearing at the time of her death. Robbins has argued the couple\u2019s relationship was in a good place.<\/p>\n

Despite the sexually charged messages, prosecutors contend Jeff West murdered his wife Kat West by bashing her in the head with a bottle of absinthe. She was found dead on their lawn from blunt force trauma, partially clothed and with a bottle of absinthe next to her body. <\/p>\n

According to CBS affiliate WHNT<\/a>, Robbins argued that Kat West drunkenly fell the night she died, hitting her head and causing fatal injuries while Jeff West was asleep. <\/p>\n

The trial will continue through this week and it is unclear when it will finish up. <\/p>\n

Jeff West\u2019s attorney has said he isn\u2019t sure if his client will take the stand in the case.<\/p>\n

Jeff West threw his arms up in the air when the judge announced the texts would be submitted. Jeff West\u2019s attorney John Robbins told CBS 42 Wednesday these messages won\u2019t make the case the prosecution is hoping for.<\/p>\n
