“#Classixx and Local Natives Share New Song \u201cWeekends\u201d: Listen<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Classixx and Local Natives have teamed up for a single titled \u201cWeekends<\/a>.\u201d It\u2019s one of two new collaborations from the Los Angeles acts. The next song, \u201cFrancesca,\u201d is set to come out on December 3. Listen to \u201cWeekends\u201d below.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese two songs were made as a collaboration in the true sense of the word,\u201d Classixx said in a statement. \u201cWe met the Local Natives guys at a wedding in Mexico and immedia<\/a>tely connected. They\u2019re such a vibrant live band and it was important to us that their musicianship and vocal harmony came through. The tunes were a group effort and it was a privilege to work on them together, it felt like being a part of a small community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Classixx\u2019s most recent album is 2016\u2019s Faraway Reach<\/em>. Local Natives released Violet Street<\/em> last year.<\/p>\n
